Hi everybody Setv.ie here to let you know some events taking place, this weekend in Dublin & the Southeast of Ireland.  

Longitude is happening this Friday 17th – Sunday 19th of July at Marley Park, a festival that have won Best Medium Festival for the second year running at the Irish Festival Awards. 

The main acts headling ar Hozier, Alt-J and The Chemical Brothers with Caribou, SBTRKT, Wild Beasts, Jungle, Little Dragon, Young Fathers, Kaytranada, Hudson Mohawke, Wolf Alice, Slaves, Girl Band, Gengahr with a lot more amazing acts to tantalise those Festival going, music taste buds.

Also if you find yourself wondering around Dublin City be sure and take a stroll to the heart of Dublin, known as the Liberties, for their annual festival.  Packed with many free activities for the children, history, Opera in the Park, Comedy, live music, Karoke, Yoga and Samba.

If you happen to be heading in the Southeast direction, Paddy Casey, a well liked Irish singer songwriter best known for ‘Sweet Suburban Sky’ is performing in  Gorey Co. Wexford the Ashdown Park hotel at 8.00pm Saturday 18th July.

Wexford town itself, based around the Stores a popular venue is holding the ‘Charlotte Street festival’ with live acts & local talent, competitions, panto racing and a good old Trad session.

Anywhere you find yourself from to Dublin to the Southeast you will always land on so many events taking place to suit your mood.  Co Wicklow is holding its festival ‘The Secret Garden Music Festival’  Kilpoole Hill in Wicklow Town. The Polo Arena will host another day long festival of music and family fun.  Damien Dempsey will headline the event with O Emperor and Wicklow’s finest Tell No Foxx again along with emerging new Irish talent.

Dublin this weekend Partly Sunny with showers Friday evening, Saturday shows Rain and Sunday intermittent Clouds.

Wexford showing the same so grab your wellies, raincoats for festivals and the rest just find shelter which is never short and above all enjoy.
